In 2007, KES’s first MDF production plant was established with a capacity of 100,000m³/year. This was one of the largest industrial woodboard factories in Vietnam at that time. In 2018, the second MDF production plant was put into operation with a capacity of 400,000m³/year with 100% of machinery and equipment imported from Europe - the Plant is among the world’s top 10 most modern MDF factories.

The Company also understands that previously, the criteria for choosing industrial wood boards for customers may be based on competitive prices and diverse designs. However, with more than 20 years of “overseas” experience, KES Group has pointed out the shift in consumption trends of global customers, especially for demanding markets such as the U.S. and Europe. Given top priorities are issues relating to health safety, stable products, and product quality.
“Good wood & Good paint” - Not only a philosophy
As a pioneering company in the industrial wood industry in Vietnam that is operating in foreign countries, KES Group is strict with its internal requirements to guarantee stability in both quality and quantity.
KES Group's product and service standardization does not only lay within thoughts or declarations but is put into practice through the development of standards, processes, and a strict monitoring, inspection, and evaluation system at each step. KES Group has deployed SAP S/4HANA, S&OP, and MES software applications to control orders across the production chain.
Understanding that the current demand is not only “Good wood - quality is guaranteed from the core” but also increasing demands for the design of surface board layers - “Good paint”. In 2022, KES Group continues to invest in a Melamine paper printing and dipping line with a modern machinery system. This is one of the first Melamine paper printing and dipping plants in Vietnam with a capacity of up to 40,000,000m², which also meets European standards with the world's most modern automatic pattern adjustment system.
This is considered a pioneering step in the industrial wood industry with a closed and comprehensive product ecosystem, including MDF/HDF raw boards, melamine-faced MDF, laminate, acrylic, floorboards, and other by-products. On this basis, KES Group can provide diverse products for many different segments, from mainstream to high-end, suitable for customers’ various demands.
According to KES Group’s statistics, KES Group's products have been exported to more than 30 countries around the world, with nearly 3,000 containers each year. KES Group expects to provide Vietnamese customers in particular and customers worldwide in general with high-quality products that are safe and suitable to consumer tastes - according to the saying “Good wood & Good paint”.
